ATLANTA INTERFAITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
For 7 years diverse congregations (Muslims, Christians, Jews) have come together to raise the money and build an Habitat for Humanity home ;to worship together in a different faith at the start of each Sunday build; to promote the concept of spending a day with a person from another faith as we build; and to continue the friendships started among the participants after the build is finished. INTERFAITH WOMEN’S BAKING GROUP

PEACE-BY PEACE- A HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
An interfaith youth initiative (open to selected students from Weber Jewish High, Marist Christian High. And W.D. Mohammed High) /the program brings Abrahamic youth together , all in each high school for a day, for the purpose of building trust, understanding and ultimately peace.
2009 KIDS-4 PEACE SUMMER CAMP AND CONTINUATION ACTIVITIES
Volunteer led, organization with a radical vision: “to see the children of the world living together in peace.” Since 2002, it has provided a safe place for Israeli, Palestinian and American children-Christian Muslims and Jews to explore their similarities and differences and to learn understanding, tolerance and respect, while fostering sustainable friendships across lines of conflict.

WINTER’S LIGHT: A CELEBRATION OF MANY VOICES, ONE MESSAGE
An evening of Interfaith Story/Arts,music/singing, to celebrate the variety of faith traditions found in our community. The metaphor of “light to emphasize the common themes that transcend religious differences. It is generally held on a Saturday evening in mid-December. Co-sponsors have been Central Congregational United Church of Christ, Congregation Bet Haverim, Atlanta’s Interfaith Storytelling Circle, the Southern Order of Storytellers, Roots & Wings Life Stories, and the Islamic Speakers Bureau. WORLD PILGRIMS
An organization that uses the concept of pilgrimage, common to all religions, with believers of each faith traveling to a lotion of sacred importance where spiritual enrichment can take place. Jews, Christians and Muslims travel together to a country or region that has religious significance for each faith. The outcome is close friendships among participants across ethnic, racial and religious lines, and who do ongoing work toward creating ”beloved communities.” There 300 Pilgrims who have been working together since 2002.
